Well, i've tried and developed a different style then in my other works here and have to say that i'm ok with it. How about you?
-> Created with Photoshop CS, only a part of one texture used for the planet and a little of texture brushing for the stars/ nebula. Please tell me what you think, but no comments like "it's unreal, there aren't planets near a nebula etc", because it's pure fiction and i wasn't going to create a physically correct image. Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

I for one firmly support your belief! There isn't any need for realism in a picture that beautiful (although I find it to be perfectly plausible). Why not try a binary sunset or sunrise sometime? The lighting would be an interesting thing to play with if the stars were different enough in color... that and after viewing a couple of your works I find you to be perfectly capable of capturing such a thing. Bravo!
