Tried to populate it a little more than my usual images... crits would much appreciated, but please nothing about realism here
Photoshop Painting from scratch as usual... a little bit of texture added for the sky at the end.

Suggester Comments: "I have an A2 print of this on my wall in my living room. To say that I am inspired daily (if not hourly) by this artwork is an understatement. The beautiful colours and graceful buildings flow with seeming ease into the distance, crowned by a magnificent sunrise highlighting the planets beyond." One thing I would improve on is more shoreline. The buildings' foundations just seem too close to the river. A little more land would really act as a buffer between the water and the buildings.
congrats on the DD
Congratulations on the DD,you've most certainly earned it.
The only criticism I could give here would be to suggest a little more variation in the building styles and shapes, to break it up a little more. Cities tend to get built up over centuries, so they aren't quite this consistent--but discounting that as "realism" comment, a little variation from a visual standpoint (a few chunkier buildings here and there, maybe) seems like it would be appealing and draw more attention to your already beautiful skyscrapers.
I have some personal study of architecture under my belt, and the buildings look very good. I cant be certain I would create this work myself in this way, but it seems to have turned out nicely.
I like the boats/barges. They add just enough life.
