this is awesome. Just get a smaller brush and make some more detail, when it's done resize it smaller and sharpen it up. It'll look awesome.

I really like this however there are a few things I would say about it:

1. I like the idea behind this and the sort of explosion style thing going on however, to me it seems a little bland and would be better if it were maybe going crazy in weird shapes and directions.

2. Maybe add a bit more colour. Obviously this is in space and not some kids colouring in book, however some more contrasting colours would be a good addition. Maybe some quite bright, light tones mixed in with really murky ones. More of this would be good.

3. I think there are too many little bright stars in this. With so many of different sizes and colours they look like little sweets in the sky. Not saying that they are bad, but maybe just less, and make them a bit more subtle. They stand out too much.

Anyway, hope I wasn't too harsh. You have the right idea and the skill, just needs a second shot I reckon. And get some custom brushes! It will really make life a hell of a lot easier. Good luck with the next one

omgosh this is a damn good practice haha ^_^ The only thing I can see wrong with it at all is that it looks a little blurry o.o but I shall do my best to give you some good critique since that's part of a healthy artists balanced diet haha ^_^

Let's see...colors are awesome...hmmm...stars are awesome...maybe use fewer flares??? I'm one to talk, I'm always putting 'em all over the place hahaha >_<! Anyway ummm...well since I don't have a tablet I'm not exactly sure what to tell you along those lines...but uh...I'll just say that maybe you should just go back in with the mouse and that might help some... Then again it might not...I wish I knew haha >_<

Well...either way, good luck!!! If I knew exactly what you were aiming for with this pic I might be able to help better but eh...I'm not too sure haha still...it's a good piece and I'm gonna it because I love the colors and I can heeeeeee ^_^
