Rob has left...

Journal Entry: Thu Jan 13, 2005, 4:42 AM
...the university. Yep. Wasn't supposed to scare you lol, i'll stay on DA forever. Probably.

I just starded studying around 4 months ago, but i lost any motivation. Maths is killing me. Physics is killing me. And so does rock identification. Many things are very interesting, but the other stuff... i just can't withstand it anymore. These damn new study courses called "Bachelor" and "Master". The good thing is you are finished with your Bachelor certificate after 3 years; but it isn't accredited in the most countries.
I have to be at university 5 days a week, 6-9 hours ad day. Plus preparing for the practical stuff like physics, chemistry and rock identification. Plus writing a journal of around 15 sites every 2 weeks for physiks, a journal for chemistry every week, getting homework in maths, topography, and, and, and... that means NO fucking free time at all. No time to meet with friends, no time for art apart from sketching in readings.
Oh, and i have to prepare for 7 (!) exams, all within the second week of february. That's just too much... So i quit. Currently looking for apprenticeship places in digital media designing and similar jobs.
Well, enough of complaining. Sorry guys and girls :yum:

Projects:
- I made a small break from my X-men fanart, working on this one since days... i can't see it anymore. I'll return to it the next day, hope to get it finished soon. Progress around 40% .

-Main sketching on paper done for another "Coming home piece". It will be very, very different then the old one and probably won't include any Terragen renderings. Well, concept and sketching is finished, i will start the real work in Photoshop the next days. I guess this one will be one of these bigger things, i'm planning in at least one week of time...
- Some more speedpaintings to annoy you lol :yum: I have to practice, and it's good to get my mind free.

I still have 4 Gmail- invitations to spare. If you're interested in, just leave me a comment or note with your name and your current email adress ;)

Thanks people :)

If I have seen farther than others, it is because I was standing on the shoulders of giants.

well, university really take a lot of time. I study 6 days/week, 7 hours per day usually. it is very difficult.
7 exams??? oh! X_X
 that's not so awful. i passed 7 credit-tests per week, each one is difficult as real exam.
I hope after that u feel much better. :)

Uh, that's hard. I really like studying on one hand, but on the other...i don't even have the time to earn some money by working nor for my friends or some art. This makes me sick and depressed, every day harder...

It's killing me and makes me depressive that i don't have time for anything. You always have some things in your head which need to be done... no free time at all. I know, life ain't easy but that's definately a number too hard for me.

Yes, i know. I thought some weeks about it and i'll go to consulting service the next week. But i almost decided to wuit, going to learn things i can do better and i'm more interested in- media design and art.

Hehe, i like the practical stuff we do, experiments and stuff. But i hate the theoretical part... aaarg so much maths :yum:
